Agency drivers, checked and recorded before they leave the yard
Borrowing a driver from an agency should not mean borrowing their paperwork problems. Mark a driver record as an agency driver and the driver app asks whoever turns up for their details before the route can start. Those details stay with the route, so you always know who actually drove it.

Mark a driver as agency
Tick Agency driver on a driver record and name the agency. You can keep one record per agency, or a few, and give each route to whoever the agency sends that day.
The app asks for the details
Full name, mobile number, agency, licence number, categories held, licence expiry, Driver CPC expiry, an emergency contact and a photo of the driving licence.
Cannot start without them
Start route stays locked until the details are given. An expired licence or Driver CPC is refused, and the driver must confirm the details are correct.
Kept with the route
The details are saved on the route, so a different person using the same agency record on another day is asked again, and your history shows who drove each route.

Visible to the office
The route shows an Agency tag until the details are in, then the driver's name. The route page shows every detail with the licence photo, and when it was given.
Reassigning clears it
If you give the route to a different driver, the old details are removed and the new driver is asked.
Frequently asked questions
Does the agency driver need a Fleetnyx account?
No. They sign in on a paired device with the number and PIN you give them, like any driver, and they are not counted as a user.
Does Fleetnyx check the licence with the DVLA?
No. Fleetnyx records what the driver enters and a photo of the licence, and refuses an expired date. You can still run your own DVLA check and record it as you do for your own drivers.
What if the agency sends someone different on another day?
The details belong to the route, not the driver record, so a new person is asked for their own details on their next route.
