Features

What you get with Fleetnyx Route Planner

01

Constraint-aware optimisation

Weight (kg), pallet spaces, chilled and tail-lift requirements, customer time windows, loading time and shift length are all honoured, with overtime capped where you set it.

02

Driver and vehicle eligibility

UK licence categories (B, C1, C, C+E), each driver's own tonnage limit and licence or CPC expiry are checked before a driver is paired with a vehicle.

03

Site restrictions

Record limits such as "no 26t", "rigid only" or "before 7am" against a customer and the planner will never send the wrong truck.

04

Drag-and-drop manual edits

Move drops between routes, re-sequence, swap vehicle or driver and add late orders. ETAs and totals recalculate instantly with overweight and late-window warnings.

05

Truck-safe directions

Directions use truck mode with gross weight, height and width so drivers avoid low bridges and weight-restricted roads, with Sygic Truck, Google Maps and Waze links.

06

Load sheets and pick lists

Every route gets a load sheet in reverse drop order, and the warehouse gets a whole-day pick list by SKU with weight and pallet utilisation.

How it works

From start to finish

  1. 1

    Import orders

Orders for the delivery date sync from NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics, Sage, Xero or CSV.

  2. 2

    Check the roster

Fleetnyx uses rostered shifts with an active vehicle and an eligible driver. Off-road vehicles are skipped.

  3. 3

    Optimise

The optimiser builds routes most-constrained-first, then improves them with relocation and 2-opt.

  4. 4

    Publish

Routes go to the driver app and load sheets go to the warehouse. Customers are notified when the route starts.

Constraints

Checked on every route, and every edit

The optimiser never builds a route that breaks a rule, and when you make manual changes, you're warned the moment one does.

  • Payload in kilograms
  • Pallet spaces
  • Delivery time windows
  • Customer site restrictions
  • Tail-lift requirement
  • Chilled requirement
  • Loading time at the depot
  • Service time per drop
  • Shift length and overtime cap

Driver eligibility

UK licence categories, built in

Drivers are only paired with vehicles they're licensed to drive, and with your own tonnage restrictions applied on top.

CategoryCoversTypical vehicles

Example: a Category C holder restricted to 18t by your policy is never offered a 26t vehicle.

Orders straight from your ERP

Customers and orders sync from NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sage 200 or Xero, and deliveries write back automatically.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to plan a day?

For most depots, optimisation runs in seconds. The time you save is in the manual juggling: Fleetnyx checks weights, pallets, windows and licences for you, so planners review and adjust rather than build from scratch.

Can I still plan routes manually?

Yes. You can build routes by hand, or optimise first and then move, re-order or reassign drops. Every change recalculates ETAs and flags problems such as overweight loads or missed windows.

Does it handle multiple depots?

Yes. Vehicles and rosters belong to depots, and each depot can be planned on its own or alongside others.

Is it suitable for vans as well as HGVs?

Yes. The same planner handles 7.5t, 18t and 26t rigids, artics, vans and cars, applying the right licence and weight rules to each.
